“They give me wrong door code. The house was not clean . Refrigerator was dirty , it was dusty and hair everywhere and the cockroach And there is no hanger in the closet.”

“This stay would have been fine if the amenities advertised were actually available. The golf cart was literally listed in the title, yet we were told less than 24 hours before check-in that it would not be available, with no information on when it would be. Getting a straight answer about compensation was a nightmare. We checked out on the 15th, and it took until yesterday to even get an estimate of what they planned to refund. When they finally provided an amount, they calculated $140 back, which essentially values their advertised golf cart at $25/day. The listed amenities were not accurate, communication was extremely difficult, and I would strongly recommend waiting until you arrive and can confirm what is actually available before buying groceries or making plans around the amenities. I’ve been to Destin seven times, and this was by far my worst experience yet.”

“Unfortunately like most Airbnbs these days, the standards for what we expected was not worth what we paid for. The house was beautiful but for cleaning fees around $200+ the house should be in great condition when entering. We first walked in to a house unlocked, the key pad did not work. And then upon entering, there was a lighter with ash on the end and a dirty rag sitting on the stairs. The ceiling fans were dusty, the sheet on the pullout couch was dirty or stained. There were stained linens stuffed into furniture and trash underneath beds and dressers. The grill didnt work and was rusted and filthy. The listing stated nothing about golf carts but the welcome email and messages a couple weeks before kept saying to enjoy a 6 seat golf cart so we decided against rental ahead of time and when we arrived, and had to call in all the other issues, was then told that the property didnt have a golf cart available. They did not have extra blankets or sheets nor enough trash bags etc.”

“Unfortunately to the owners of this apartment, the company running it is very bad. The apartment itself is good, has a really new golf cart that was great to get around with. Location is great. During our 2 night stay, we had one of the workers walk into the unit twice. The first time was for “inspection” he didn’t know we checked in early, and the second time was the following day he walked in and said he was searching for a missing necklace. We were not notified by the company that anyone will be entering in the unit. Paid over 1k to have a beachwalk “employee” walk in on us twice. Did not feel safe at all. I was showering my children and thank GOD my husband was there because the man entered in and was looking around the apartment. Customer service with Beachwalk is HORRIBLE. They did not want to do anything about it or take accountability. They said he “knocked 3 times” and apparently had a right to enter in the unit after the knock. FIRE BEACHWALK”

“Dead zone! Was unable to Make calls or connect to internet without SEVERE interruption! DO NOT book here if you intend to getaway and enjoy any kind of internet service! Asking the host was useless. Continued to tell me “we haven’t had that issue before” and it looks like the internet is up from here. Completely unacceptable, when grounds keeper is right across the street. Kayaks are NOT available at the house! ALSO the water…. Is across a street from the house, not next to the house as it appears in the pictures. Cars whip around that corner too so watch your kids! Table in kitchen cannot be used to eat as the leaf is broken, and both of the patios are NOT temp controlled. Both are open to the elements.”

“I specifically booked this property for their advertised 6 seat golf cart …. I get there look in the garage and no golf cart… I notified them and was told it was under maintenance…I was never told before it was u see maintenance and was under the impression by their advertisement there would be a golf cart …. Luckily I had had a vehicle to get my family around but what if I didn’t. Then I was told to I could rent one. Come to find out it was during peak season and for a 7 day stay a rental would be 1200 extra dollars on my part … I ended up only getting a golf cart for 4 of the 7 days cause they were all booked up. It cost me an extra $490 . Told management and they gave me a refund for 250 dollars… HALF OF WHAT I PAID FOR OUT OF POCKET… I will never stay here again nor will I ever recommend this place.”

“The neighborhood and condo were great! However a golfcart was listed which is the main reason we chose this condo for my family of 6 to easily be able to get my kids back and forth from the beach etc. We were told in confirmation email the keys would be there for the golf cart and when we arrived it was not there. The guest services were awful and the biggest reason we will never stay again. When I called they lied and said we werent supposed to have a golf cart. Then when I showed proof they said "well there has been an issue and you will not have one" and lied more. When I asked if I could talk to the owner to try to come to a resolution and was told I could not and could only have them put in for a comp. review and wait 14 days to find out if we will get any reimbursement. no replies to text to talk to someone. If you have an issue here they will not help you during your stay. It made our stay awful trying to figure out what to do to get everyone back and forth to the beach.”

“The condo was clean, comfortable, and equipped as expected. It’s in a great location near The Big Chill and close to everything along 30A. The community pool access was a plus as well. One thing to note is that the entire living area is above the garage, so the only way into the home is by stairs. If accessibility is important to you, this may not be the best fit. The biggest issue during our stay was that the advertised 6-seat golf cart was not available. The golf cart was one of the main reasons we chose this property, and we were never notified before arrival that it would not be provided. The host had ample opportunity to communicate this before check-in, but we didn’t learn about the issue until after we arrived and started asking about it. While the situation was eventually addressed with a partial refund and additional assistance from Airbnb, it was frustrating to spend vacation time dealing with something that could have been communicated in advance. “We checked In spent a whole night at this location to be kicked out the following day and being accused of throwing a party . Airbnb told us they double booked the house and it ended up being a mess . Nice house but unfortunate situation that had nothing to do with us . Ended up paying $300 more dollars on a different place .”

“All I'm gonna say is that I had to cancel my stay at the last moment after I showed up to this place , the worst Airbnb I have ever been, I didn't ask for any refunds but neither the host try to mention anything about it, now the point is to warn any other people that try to stay in this place , it is a nightmare.”
