“my husband and I obviously rented this for the water so we could fish when we arrived. Their water was down many feet. It was all dry land. It was impossible and dangerous, even try to attempt to fish down there. I even asked if the water was OK before we arrived , cause something told me and they were like yeah and you have access to the kayaks. lol The TVs didn’t work in the camper. The stairs are broke. The gas grill was broke so you couldn’t cook. The stairs are broke leading up to the the loft.”airbnb

“The place was in a beautiful area, unfortunately it needs a lot of maintenance done.. master bedroom has a broken box spring, nails sticking up through out the upstairs carpet and on the dining room chairs . Noticeable pee smell upstairs. One side of the downstairs bathroom faucet didn’t work. The dishwasher was flooded with old water. Decks were not clean. No safety precautions for bears who encountered us and tried to come inside the house. And Very little necessities like cleaning supplies or toilet paper.”airbnb

“I booked this cabin for 2 nights to celebrate my birthday with friends. On the second day, a toilet began leaking onto the bathroom floor due to a larger septic issue, leaving us with very limited water usage. There were 14 of us, including a pregnant guest. I contacted Avada requesting a replacement cabin, but they said none were available and told us to either stay overnight with limited water or find somewhere else during a holiday weekend, late at night, in the rain. They initially offered a partial refund for the night, but after I said it felt unfair for them to still profit from the situation and asked to speak with management, they suddenly claimed the cabin was unsafe and demanded we leave immediately with no alternative accommodations. I was never allowed to speak with management, and the revised refund offer was even lower than before. The entire situation was handled with little care or accountability, and I would not recommend booking with this company.”airbnb

“The cabin is nice and we did see a bear! There was pretty much nothing in the way of spices, tupperware, TP, paper towels, and other things of that nature. The items provided didn't even last a long weekend.”airbnb

“Beautiful location. We are return visitors from our wedding night, but there was a colony of bats in the ceiling. The bats were very loud, constantly chirping and skittering around. At night you could both see and hear them entering and leaving the roof to hunt. There are also spots where it appears there is bat waste coming from the ceiling. The host responded poorly, claiming they couldn’t be removed until after our stay, so we left early. There were numerous bat removal services available to attend in a timely manner. Other than the above, it is a beautiful location. My wife and I stayed here after our wedding night and wanted to enjoy it again one year later. If the bat issue is handled, it would be a wonderful getaway.”airbnb

“We stayed here for my daughter’s graduation trip. The cabin was spacious, nicely decorated, and well stocked with cookware, dishes, and utensils. We also appreciated the safety gate since we traveled with a toddler and there are MANY stairs. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and preparation between guests were disappointing. There were no paper towels, only sample-size generic dish soap, no laundry supplies, dirty placemats, debris on the stairs, stained pillows without pillowcases, hair in the tub, and floors needing a good steam mop. We even found molded food particles inside the pullout sofa and chose not to use it. We bought cleaning supplies locally and washed towels before use. The indoor pool area smelled strongly and had visible mold/rust. Nearby guests were also very loud until 2–3am. The host did apologize but stated they did not own the neighboring cabins. Overall, great potential, but cleaning needs major improvement and better turnover standards.”airbnb

“It was very nice but we were not informed that there wasn’t a elavator and we were on the third floor. Had to drag all our luggage up the stairs. We are in our 70’s and have health problems. No ice machine in the building and no ice trays in the refrigerator. Never sent a code to get in the door of our room so we had to keep calling until we finally reached someone. It’s a very nice place but we want be staying there again unless we can get a room on the first floor. Even when I finally got in touch with someone to get our code, I told them the situation with no elevator and about our health but they didn’t offer us another room on another floor and it was obvious that the place wasn’t crowded.”airbnb

“I was not happy with my stay at Avada home. I paid for a cabinand they call me at the last minute telling me the cabin had a water leak. This cabin should of been check a week or 2 day before my arrival not the day of. They put me in a house which i have a house like the one they put me in to stay. The house was not clean. Spiders webs was all up stairs through out the house. The master bedroom where my mom slept the sheets was nasty, mold in the bathroom and she got sick from it. I ask over and over could I get a cabin but they told me nothing was available. I ask would the cabin with the leak be ready they said no not until the 11th of May, the day I checkout. My family made the best out of this trip which was their first time going to the cabins, and it was a failure.”airbnb

“Good location. Cabin still had fall decor up in May which confirmed that Noone had been there in quite some time. The grill had not been cleaned since last guest and it had so much grease and animal hair in it. We had to use the grill at 2pm on Saturday, the only option we were given was someone would come clean it but it wouldn't be before 2pm. That wouldn't work for us as we needed the grill at a specific time. Having to clean it was awful. It was so gross. Bathroom downstairs tub did not drain. All the furniture on the deck was covered in spiderweb, mildew and dirt.”airbnb
