Aunt Bug's's guest rating of 4.41 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“nice decent cabin but could use some updated mattress especially in the queen master suite.”airbnb

“Had a wonderful time staying at this cozy condo with the family. Enjoyed the location and being up in the mountains, but certainly some steep roads at times (which is expected). The team communicated well and were very responsive. Letting me know to be mindful that my cell signal might not be the strongest in the mountains, so to have instructions prior to the drive up. Also, yes we did see bears on the side of the road, which was great!”airbnb

“Very nice cabin and view! No problems with the host or their response time. Only thing was the property did not provide cleaning spray/soap or more than one trash bag and we were a family of five staying for five nights.”airbnb

“Once we got checked in to relax a bit we noticed the bed sheets and pillow cases has crazy amounts of dog hair. We knew the cabin was pet friendly. Which isn’t an issue. The issue is when you spend $500 dollars on a house you expect clean sheets. They did resolve that issue. There is black mold growing in the bathroom. The jet tub indoors has massive duct tape in the bottom of it. We were told it was safe to use, but it looked disgusting and unappealing. There were bugs in our bed. Every Airbnb home I’ve stayed at provided some sort of hand soap at least. If you like bright lights shining in your face while you sleep, the broken bed is positioned perfectly for that. I so desperately wanted a refund to just get a hotel, they give you complementary coffee there. I’d give this zero stars and I hope everyone saves their money. Stay somewhere else. I’ll say they did offer us a different cabin…if we wanted to travel to a different town that wasn’t part of our vacation plans and destination.”airbnb

“This listing is VERY misleading. Upon check in - the smell of rotten eggs hits you in the face. The shower was FILTHY. Black rings of grime all around it. I have photo documentation for my claims. You are not being hosted by an actual host. This is a cabin rental company so BEWARE. The following morning, we were leaving for the day and the camper wouldn’t lock. We called the number at the place and was told maintenance would be out. Mind you, the girl taking the call didn’t even know which lock of what unit we were in. We had no WiFi. The bed was AWFUL. It’s so firm and lays on a piece of plywood. For the price we paid and the pictures, I expected more. We came back after being out all day to the whole camper smelling like sewer. And guess what? Maintenance never came to fix the lock or WiFi issues. The cleanliness - I have MULTIPLE photos showing the dust, left over trash. We had to leave at 3 am due to the nastiness and general safety concerns.”airbnb

“The location was great but the cleanliness of the cabin was not good at all. Urine stains on sheets and comforters. Pool had a film on it when we arrived. There wasn’t any communication on when they would be arriving to fix anything that I had reported. We would be gone and come back to a sign on the handle of the door the first day where they fixed the pool and then the next day we had sheets and comforter sitting on the kitchen table after reporting the urine stained items. The house was in a great location. After we bought our own bedding and they cleaned the pool, everyone seemed to enjoy everything else about it.”airbnb
