“After we were able to find the cabin with help and after the ordeal with the tv, we enjoyed our stay. It was very private and quiet. We are an older couple and not familiar with the newer tv’s, so my suggestion would be to put instructions on how to use the numerous remotes.”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Shawn's spacious, comfortable house with excellent facilities. It's a great base for exploring the Smokies, with relatively easy access straight into the National Park. The beds are huge and comfortable, and both bedrooms have well appointed ensuites, as well as access onto the upper balcony. The area is quiet and relaxing, with a great view of the mountains. All that and a hot tub and pool table, which was great fun, and chances are you might see a local bear wandering around outside. A few suggestions; some hangars in the wardrobes would be useful, similarly some washing up liquid and a scourer in the kitchen. Also, a bit of coffee and a few tea bags for guests on arrival is a nice touch, and seems pretty standard these days, (and a lot more in fact). Lastly, the house needs a guest folder with welcoming note, general instructions for the house and the area. None of that would stop us booking Big Oak Court again though.”
