“The house was comfy and had everything we needed for a fun weekend. Two beautiful beaches within walking distance and ice cream up the street! So many delicious restaurants in Gloucester and shops in Rockport that we must come back soon.”

“This is a beautiful and quiet home with all of the amenities. It was a huge space that was perfect for what I needed for my weekend stay. It is close enough to downtown Gloucester and the train to Boston. The only hiccup was not receiving the code prior to check-in, despite following the host’s instructions. It left my group stranded in the rain for an hour or two until we received the code. Other than that, a perfect home for large groups!”

“The Tidebend house was absolutely amazing. We had a wedding in Boston and hosted 10 family members from all over the U.S. Everyone enjoyed the stunning views and comfortable and quiet surroundings. There was plenty of space to spread out and the location was perfect. The house is very old, but well maintained and lots of amenities with an updated kitchen. The house also has quite a history. You must ask the host about the original owners from the 1800s. I would recommend this place to anyone that is looking for a larger home to host a family or family reunion. We will be back!!”

“The views from this home are truly extraordinary -- and they change throughout the day with the tides, the sun, the wildlife, and the huge expanse of sky. The home is beautifully appointed with simple elegance and all rooms were spotless. We loved how open and spacious this home felt with the large screened in porch, the majestic views from the second floor, and the airy, large kitchen. We can't wait to go back for another ocean retreat. (and we already miss The Mill where we got great takeout meals each day -- 5 minutes away)”
