Conveniently located 4 Bed/2 Bath home just a few minute walk from Rockport's Main Beach. Wonderful place to stay if you don't want to drive.

Location is great for shops and food, but was not expecting to be sharing the home with others. Created some worry since the house was renting to others who also had dogs. You never know how other dogs will react. Also the entry for this rental is not ideal with respect to the parking location. Loading and unloading is difficult if you have children and dogs. The home is on a dead end where you are not allowed to park on the road and the neighbor across the street will express her frustration if you attempt to park near the entrance to unload/load belongings.

It's walkable from the train station and to the beach. The Mill Pond is nice to look at from the deck in the mornings and is in the shade in the afternoon. We did not realize that two of the bedrooms and one bath were upstairs, but that was ok

Great house. Just spent 4 days there with my family. Everything was stress-free. Easy check-in. Super clean. Towels, etc were sealed in plastic, I assume after being professionally cleaned, which I have not see in an AirBnb before. Right on the border of Rockport and Gloucester. Close to everything. Comfortable bedrooms and spacious, clean bathrooms. My only gripe was that it was billed as walkable to Long Beach - which technically is true. But you need to walk a few minutes on a busy road that has virtually no shoulder - so we didn't feel safe walking there with all of our beach gear. Instead, we reserved and paid for a parking pass at Wingaersheek Beach - which was around 15 minutes away and fabulous. We also drove to Good Harbor Beach one day, which is a minute from the house, and after 5pm we didn't have to pay or have a reservation. All in all a great stay and I would go back there again.

Extraordinarily expensive for a house that just isn’t very nice. One shower produced zero water pressure, the other wouldn’t drain properly and overflowed constantly. Check in instructions were outdated and incorrect and the host did not respond to us once. House is very old and the layout is awkward (dangerously steep stairs). Checkout instructions are extremely demanding and excessive with additional fees threatened. To sum it up: upscale prices for a very low end experience.
