The home was charming and reminded us of character homes in a quaint fishing town movie. Definitely recommend a stay.”

“The house itself is really nice, clean, quiet, and in a great location. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that, while it’s listed as dog-friendly, there isn’t really a suitable area nearby to take your dogs out. There is a large, empty grassy lot across from the house that, based on other reviews, appears to be a popular spot for guests to take their dogs. We used it for that reason. One evening, the next-door neighbor stood on their front steps glaring at us, which felt intimidating. The next morning, Airbnb told us the neighbor had complained and asked that we stay off the property. The confusing part is that there were no signs indicating the lot was private, and it didn’t appear to be connected to their house, so there was no obvious way for us to know it belonged to them. We asked the Airbnb manager for clarification but never heard back. We simply avoided the area afterward. That was the only hiccup. Otherwise, we enjoyed the house and had a good experience.”
