“We were very disappointed with how dirty the floors were , visible dust in and above the heat vents, there were pop cans underneath the bed upstairs, the old plastic on top of the table should have been covered with a table cloth and both tubs in the house could not have been checked after each guests stay ( as the sign says ) because the drains will not close so the tubs will hold water.”

“Overall, our stay fell well below our expectations. The house did not feel as spacious or as new as it appeared in the listing photos. It looks like a three-story house, but only the upper two floors were available to us. It rained heavily on our first night, and water came in through the front of the house. Even our shoes on the floor got wet. I shared photos and videos showing the issue. There was also very little water flow in the upstairs bathroom, making it impossible to shower there. With six people staying, we all had to use the one other bathroom. The company was attentive and tried to find solutions whenever we contacted them, which we appreciated. However, the issues with the house could not really be resolved during our two-night stay. Unfortunately, the view was also less open than it appeared in the photos. In short, the house was not so bad that we couldn’t stay there, but our experience was disappointing enough that we would not choose to stay again.”

“Upon arrival, it appeared brand new, beautiful and spacious. However, we found things that needed to be fixed; water pressure was mediocre at best. Worst of all, we an invasion of ants on the second of our 4 day stay. Very disappointed with response (couldn’t be taken care of until we left) since it was reported on a Sunday. For the price we paid, we were not satisfied.”

“The cabin was neat and clean but we did not like the location as it is in town. Also the mattresses are simply worn out, you sleep in a rut. Between that and the garbage trucks and sirens during the night, we didn’t get much sleep. Probably will not stay there again.”

“We loved staying here, but I couldnt quite give five stars because of a 4 things. 1:There was no laundry detergent or dishwasher detergent, which to be fair are not listed on the amenities. Its just normally I find there is enough for at least one load, and its good know that ahead of time. 2: overall the place was clean, but we did find quite a few very dirty dishes that had been put away. And the occasional dead bug laying around. 3: I wanted to be next door to family, and this was further away in the neighborhood than I thought. Which wouldnt have been too big of an issue, if the neighborhood road wasn't so mountainous lol. 4: there was no available closet space or hangers. And only a few available dresser drawers didnt have bedding in them. Our washing machine broke during our stay and this company was on top of the problem! I mentioned it right at bed time to them, and they had the problem fixed by the end of the next day. They were very responsive and professional about it”

“So when booking this cabin through Airbnb, I had no clue that I was about to get myself into a world of trouble with American patriot getaways. I cannot express enough, how unprofessional and uncaring they have been this entire process. The cabin that we stayed at for Labor Day weekend was the property listed, “Black Gold” at 352 Wild Orchid Way. Originally, the photos looked amazing and this seemed like a very good property to book for your typical mountain getaway. When arriving to the cabin, we inspected the property just to see what everything looked like and the first thing we immediately discovered was black mold in the guest bathroom sink, and it wasn’t just a little amount either. Then we went on to discover basically the whole house had not been properly cleaned from the previous renters. We found dog hair scattered on all the beds and their linens, toilets, not cleaned with pubic hair and stains all over them, and so on and so forth. I highly do not recommend this company!!!”

“The location of the cabin was great. It was central between pigeon Forge in Gatlinburg. The cabin is in great need of a deep. Walls were not clean. Edges of the floors was not clean baseboards was covered with buildup dust and dirt. The deck was covered with spiderwebs. Water pressure was horrible ice machine didn’t work coffee pot didn’t work. The only good thing about the cabin was that the beds was clean and the location.”

“The location was amazing great view nice and quiet the cabin really needs to be cleaned better and the hot tub needs some maintenance the jets wouldn’t come out and I have to keep flipping the breaker on to get it to warm up we found dead bugs smashed on the kitchen counter also found 2 in the living room on the floor already smashed and dead the top balcony was nice, but we found a good amount of ashes in a flower pot and it smelled like smoke in the top area we only picked this cabin for the non smoking room and the hot tub and was pretty disappointing in both”

“It was a ok stay they had no seasonings not even salt or pepper the cabin temperature was set at 75 when we got there which is way to hot for the summer time but the beds were comfortable and was clean”

“Wonderful view and convenient location close to Pigeon Forge. However, did not provide basic bathroom and kitchen amenities found at other rentals. After check-in, we had to go out buy items that are typically included in an AirBnB rental. Additionally, one of the game machines was broken, which we were not told about until the day of check-in. This was a disappointment, as the game room was one of the reason we chose this rental.”
