“Overall, our stay fell well below our expectations. The house did not feel as spacious or as new as it appeared in the listing photos. It looks like a three-story house, but only the upper two floors were available to us. It rained heavily on our first night, and water came in through the front of the house. Even our shoes on the floor got wet. I shared photos and videos showing the issue. There was also very little water flow in the upstairs bathroom, making it impossible to shower there. With six people staying, we all had to use the one other bathroom. The company was attentive and tried to find solutions whenever we contacted them, which we appreciated. However, the issues with the house could not really be resolved during our two-night stay. Unfortunately, the view was also less open than it appeared in the photos. In short, the house was not so bad that we couldn’t stay there, but our experience was disappointing enough that we would not choose to stay again.”

“The cabin was great and the views were beautiful! We even ran into a bear in the driveway by the car our last morning there as we were loading up so definitely be on the lookout. The only complaint was the place could use a deep cleaning. Other than that, the hosts were fantastic with communication and check-in/out was a breeze.”

“The cabin was very nice and remote up in the woods. The drive is a bit of a trick- as it is very steep. We found that going to the next home and turning in their drive was easier than navigating the sharp turn/steep climb directly up to the cabin. The living room furnishings were a bit dated and worn, but comfortable. We loved the time out on the deck looking over the valley below. There were no small toiletries in the home- so make sure to bring your own shampoo, etc. No coffee, or salt/pepper in kitchen either- so plan on bringing essential staples right off. Check in and out was very seamless.”

“Absolutely loved the cabin. Our first reservation, we weren’t able to stay at because the air conditioner went out…they found us another place very quickly with all the amenities we needed. However, there were not enough towels. Each person (6) had 1 towel and 1 washcloth…but there is a hot tub! I would’ve liked to have had separate towels for the hot tub. Also, there was a coffee pot and filters, but no coffee! That made for a grumpy morning. I feel those things could (and should’ve) been provided. They also only left us 1 spare trash bag…we are clean people and we couldn’t empty the trash as much as we would’ve liked. Overall…the cabin was amazing and we would stay there again.”

“For the price you pay this place was not worth it. This property has been neglected and the pictures are misleading. The driveway is tough and I expected it based on prior reviews but I underestimated how steep it really is. The garbage cans had been rummaged through due to them not getting a new lock. Bear activity was increased and trash was all behind the cabin. We actually had a bear break into our vehicle. There were times we couldn’t get in or out of our cabin due to the bear not leaving. We couldn’t safely walk our dog and the door knob to the porch barely hanging on by a thread made us nervous. Also didn’t think it was sanitary to not have fitted sheets on the beds. After all this we decided to stay else where. We spoke to customers service there was nothing they could do and if we chose to call for the bear to be relocated “it wouldn’t get done on a holiday weekend ” Which we wouldn’t have wanted for the bear. We were not offered any reimbursement for the days we didn’t stay.”
