“Our stay at American Patriot Getway was ok. Upon arrival we noticed a terrible smell from the sink and was accompanied by many gnats. The master bedroom had what looked to be some sort of mold growing at the bottom the it on the sheets. The overall location was great and close to restaurants and attractions. My family really enjoyed the hot tub and double patios.”

“So when booking this cabin through Airbnb, I had no clue that I was about to get myself into a world of trouble with American patriot getaways. I cannot express enough, how unprofessional and uncaring they have been this entire process. The cabin that we stayed at for Labor Day weekend was the property listed, “Black Gold” at 352 Wild Orchid Way. Originally, the photos looked amazing and this seemed like a very good property to book for your typical mountain getaway. When arriving to the cabin, we inspected the property just to see what everything looked like and the first thing we immediately discovered was black mold in the guest bathroom sink, and it wasn’t just a little amount either. Then we went on to discover basically the whole house had not been properly cleaned from the previous renters. We found dog hair scattered on all the beds and their linens, toilets, not cleaned with pubic hair and stains all over them, and so on and so forth. I highly do not recommend this company!!!”

“It was a ok stay they had no seasonings not even salt or pepper the cabin temperature was set at 75 when we got there which is way to hot for the summer time but the beds were comfortable and was clean”

“My family enjoyed our cabin stay at Poolin Around Cabin. The towel art is adorable & the decor is cute. The amenities are wonderful. We really enjoyed the pool and pool table. We didnt end up using the game stations down stairs or the hot tub since we had a toddler with us. We appreciated having the futon downstairs to have our toddler sleep on while my husband and I played some pool. Some important things to note: the pool has an alarm. Theres ice in the freezer but no water dispenser. The cabin is on a steep hill with a narrow road that gets a decent amount of traffic. In the winter youll want to have 4WD. The wifi is not the best especially if you need stable connection for work/school. The front door code was difficult. Most times we had to put the code in multiple times to get the door to open. The space was generally clean however could benefit from a good deep cleaning and some general maintenance (caulking in the showers / loose boards in common areas, etc.) Overall recommend.”

“I probably would not book with American Patriot again. Around 42 days before our stay we tried to shorten by 1 day, we shot us in the foot because we should've just cancel and gone someplace else. Because we stay for 4 days but pay for 5 days. They like to take your money so be aware.”
