4.78Visit website
30a Seascapes Vacation Rentals's guest rating of 4.78 is below average and may adversely impact performance. Some of this can come from specific properties they manage — but where reviews point to manager weaknesses (responsiveness, cleanliness, listing accuracy) that would apply to your home too, they can adversely affect your bookings and the quality of guests you attract.

“Location was perfect however there was trash left in top bunk, pubes found in “clean towel” and small bugs we noticed multiple times”airbnb

“The building is very run down and dirty. Similar to a run down Red Roof Inn on the side of the interstate. The actual condo was just ok. Bathroom grout black from mold, cheap mattresses and pillows. TV in the master and living room don’t work or the remotes don’t work. Had to park over a half mile away and pay for public parking because we had a boat trailer. At the bottom of the about section are the notes for the “amenity fees”. It was an extra $50 per night paid separately for parking and access to the run down pool. Elevator closest to our room has been broken since April per the sign on it. Dirty carpet walkways, chipped paint, stained and unpainted doors and dirty window trims line the whole complex as you walk to your room. Giant pile of dog poop on the walk way on the 16th floor when we checked in. It’s a Red Roof Inn the size of a Vegas Hotel. You can definitely find better options in PCB.”airbnb

“Overall a good place to stay however I wasn’t able to adjust the a/c due to a pin on the wall unit and wasn’t provided with the pin. The unit was COVERED WITH SAND and the 2nd bathroom was disgusting the toilet in both bathrooms wasn’t properly cleaned and there was no way to turn on the ceiling fan in the master bedroom as well as one of the couches was broken down the back and all three pieces of furniture desperately needed to be cleaned. While there were many small things that weren’t cleaned or just not correctly working, the unit itself self was spacious and the condominium it is located in has a lot of convenient amenities that made our stay very enjoyable! Possibly they just need to replace the broken couch and hire a different cleaning company/ service but overall was an enjoyable experience.”airbnb

“1. Roaches 2. Bed is not as advertised. It is not fluffy, it is foam. Had to sleep on a futon and had lots of back pain. 60% of the days on this trip wasted. 3. Loud plumbing when you turn on the bathroom sink. Sounds like an automatic rifle. 4. Kitchen was dirty with crusted food on the cooking equipment. 5. Toilet loose. 6. Most issues already written in the guest book and unresolved. 6. Only amenities were the first tiny bottle. Maybe that is normal for AirBNB but I have never encountered that before. I asked all sorts of questions about the amenities since it was weird in the listing but they never explained that in our messages even though it was obvious we hadn't read the welcome packet. It was in the welcome packet, but that ended up in my spam box and never saw it. It took days and lots of frustration and wasted time till they finally explained it was in the packet. 7. Host not accommodating and did not provide any solutions. All we kept getting was I'm sorry for this and that.”airbnb

“Some important information that we needed to get in the parking garage was giving through a separate email that I wasn’t aware of so we had to wait an hour and a half before we can get into the condo. Put us in there at 6 AM. Had to stop to talk to three different people before we got an answer and was able to get into a different parking lot for the night. The shower bathtub and sink had hair in there when we got arrived. There was three of us with one roll of toilet paper and instructions said if we needed more it was our responsibility. That was kind of different from anywhere else we’ve ever stayed. The essentials that were needed were not adequate enough for three people.”airbnb

“Host was quick to respond before I booked, but that was it. Automated responses with a lot of information which is helpful. I messaged the first day after my first night and no response I had more I wanted to say but what’s the point if not going to get a response. The condo building itself is a great location, right on the beach, close to the pier shopping restaurants. It is a big building so can be very busy and kids/families in vacation. Inside the condo is newly renovated and beautiful, the photos are a little photoshopped but overall the same. The master bed is extremely used and caved in, the light bulbs need to be checked, the bigger tv should be in the bigger room, the towels and blankets didn’t smell clean and fresh I guess that’s hotel/condo life? and there were some cleaning spots in the kitchen that were overlooked. If you’ve read this far the views from the patio are exactly as pictures and beautiful, but probably will smell some type of smoke while out there unfortunately”airbnb

“The location was beautiful and clean; however, the two beds in one of the rooms were neither comfortable nor did they include dressers for clothing storage. Additionally, the room was somewhat cramped. There are two couches with pull-out beds that we did not utilize; nonetheless, these could accommodate eight guests, although not comfortably. the valet parking was quick and convenient and the host was very responsive”airbnb

“The condo listed another name and did not say “Origins” which is where it actually was. If I would have known that from the beginning I would not have booked the unit. It’s misleading. And the floors of the unit were covered in sand even though we had not gone to the beach. Also, my feet were black from walking barefoot in the unit. The main couch was broken and when you sat on it, you sank to the floor. If you wanted to cook, there was only one mixing bowl and 4 forks and 3 spoons. The only thing that was good about this unit was the bed. I did communicate this to the manager and said we needed a vacuum cleaner and a mop. A man showed up the next day and just used a broom and a mop that didn’t clean the floors. We left after 2 nights and booked an entire week. I asked for a refund for the days we didn’t stay but of course I have never received one. Don’t stay at this unit!”airbnb

“This stay was extremely disappointing and misleading. Cleanliness was unacceptable — my babies’ feet were completely black from walking on the floors. There was visible spill residue along the baseboards, and even worse, mold under the cabinets by the sink. That is not only disgusting but a serious health concern, especially for families with small children. The most frustrating part is that the listing falsely advertised direct pool and beach access. That was the entire reason I booked this property, as I was traveling with 1-year-old twins and a 3-year-old and needed easy, safe access. What was advertised is not what was provided — plain and simple. When I contacted the host to address these issues, I was essentially dismissed and told there was nothing they could do. No effort to resolve the situation, no accountability. I had no choice but to escalate the issue to Airbnb myself to try to get any kind of resolution. I would not recommend staying here, especially with babies.”airbnb

“David showed no consideration to my issues and I’m demanding a refund. I had to stay at my client house most of the nights and had to leave to go use internet at a client house or coffee shop. So I spent extra money in Lyft. Beds were horribly squeaky and they left the screws on the nightstand next to the air conditioner that belongs on the bed, dresser was discombobulated and candy in the draws, wash rags to wash my body with had a brown stains on it and they were funky. If you’re wondering why I couldn’t really complain because David didn’t pay attention to my first complaint so I felt defeated. I’m traveling for business and I don’t have time to argue with someone that I’m paying. DO BETTER DAVID YOUR SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE”airbnb
