the good: good location, short drives to many hiking areas. shower worked fine, dishes available, oven also worked. beds were comfortable. easy check in/check out. The not so good: noticeable smell of stale cigarettes, but luckily there was a diffuser so we used that constantly to help with the smell. it was clean but it seemed like perhaps someone hadnt stayed in awhile as there were a few cobwebs here and there and dust on the dishes. there was also a landscaper that came by and we were not notified and it wasn't rescheduled, and it kicked up so much pine dust we were unable to go outside for a long time.

As described, great building and property. Would recommend! Only thing to be aware of is the water—it’s not super close (matters most for the kayaks) and also being a bit mucky.

The place was private and quiet. We don’t overlord bedroom because the bed was on the floor and we didn’t notice that in the pictures. The couches all had blankets on them which looked a little dumpy. The biggest thing that bothered us was that every time we came back from a day out it smelled like stale smoke. We also smelled it in the towels and a weird cologne smell in the comforters and sheets. Also there is not an actual coffee maker it’s a Kuerig, that may not matter to some people but it mattered to us and that was sort of disappointing. My husband brought his own craft coffee and to make it in a Kuerig is a whole different experience. He also drinks a half pot a morning.

We really enjoyed our stay there. One thing I would suggest is to make it easier to get inside the house with the code. Otherwise it was an awesome place to stay at. The outdoor fire pit was really nice to sit around at night and enjoy a peaceful conversation around the fire. I would recommend it to anyone.
