“Great spot on the lake.”

“Everything was great. The only detail missing was the dock. This was for Memorial Day weekend and there was no dock in the water. It’s still early in the season but would have been nice to use. Everything else was perfect!”

“The location is beautiful, right on the lake and in a quiet area. I recommend a stroll in the nature trail just down the road, it was beautiful and serene. The home itself has lots of space and comfortably slept 6 adults & 2 kids. The lake was shallow and calm, good for kayaking. The house itself was horribly dirty: hair/dust everywhere, stains on walls, trash overflowing outside, filthy floors, etc. and unfortunately we did not get much assistance with resolving this. Host played blame game on a variety of factors claiming that it had been inspected prior to arrival - if it had, they would have known a moisture alarm was going off (took an hour to locate the source of the alarm and fix it ourselves). We spent the first evening cleaning things ourselves. The mayflies were awful, which we get since we were raised around lakes, but the lack of exterior upkeep (power washing, etc) made the deck quite yucky. Host was willing to refund cleaning fee, but overall a poor stay.”
