“Didnt really have an accessible beach area, but the dock worked great for fishing and eatching sunsets. We found a beach with a play ground at Trails End bar and restaurant near by that entertained our grandson. Our family loved this home and the great space. Location was close to everything and still secluded with good trailer parking. Boatramp was a little drive but worked out well. Highly recommend!”

“It absolutely has great views and is easy to get to. Plenty of outdoor space for nice weather and large windows to let in light. Plenty of restaurants and bars within a short drive.”

“The great: Four kayaks included on an easy-to-navigate lake. Extremely close to a trailhead for the MAKWA MTB trail and several good restaurants. Washer and dryer were great to have (used daily). The good: Plenty of space, especially the basement, two-tiered decks, and fire pit area. Things to know: Despite the listing/photos referencing bath towels, only hand and kitchen towels are provided—bring your own bath towels and washcloths. The host did provide a credit when I raised the issue. For a group of 6+, the refrigerator is extremely small, so plan accordingly and consider stocking up on ice/coolers. The pictured beverage fridge does not work. There is also no actual beach area on the lake. The bonus basement bathroom is convenient, but the shower curtain had mildew and should be replaced more frequently. Cleaning could also be improved, Fridge was dirty & mouse droppings in the basement and on the first floor. Overall, a spacious place in a great location”

“The house is nice and quiet. It’s surrounded by trees so it’s peaceful and private. Unfortunately for us the closest boat ramp was closed so we had to use the one further away. But all in all a nice stay. The house comes with a boat dock on the street to the west. I will complain slightly about vehicle parking when you use the dock.”

“Beautiful house on the lake. Enjoyed the kayak and floats. It was well maintained and clean. Only observation- the coffee maker was not cleaned out when we arrived : maybe add this to housecleaning checklist. One warning: the stairs up to bedrooms on the 2nd floor did not have a handrail for 1/2 of the stairs. This was a dangerous hardship for my 88 year old mother. She had to crawl up the last steps on the way up, and I had to walk in front of her on the way down.”

“Great place and location. Very quiet. Some cobwebs were on the big windows and up high in the ceiling. Overall a very nice stay to get away and relax.”

“The house was very clean and nice inside. It’s also in a nice location on Long Lake. Doesn’t have a dishwasher and has a very small oven/microwave combo. One day there was not hot water and another day the AC was not functioning. The biggest concern is the private dock isn’t private. We shared it with the lower unit and with two boats it was a pretty big pain as you couldn’t get around without moving the other boat. Also, not sure if the responses were slow because of the holiday weekend but one question we asked didn’t get a response and the other was the following day.”
