“We desperately needed a family getaway following our father’s recent passing, so decided to give this local farmhouse a try. Wow! What an amazing experience. Where to begin with all the fun? We lounged in the pool daily, gathered eggs from the chicken coop, relaxed in the soaker tub, held uproarious games of Spoons around the country table on the porch, and toasted s’mores at the campfire. It was also a time for music - from guessing tunes spun on the parlor piano, to sweet steady tributes to Dolly Parton in honor of her passing. We all laughed, played, ate and embraced more than we had in months. This place restored our souls and energized us for life again. Thank you for sharing such an incredible homestead. We were blessed ❤️”

“The home is amazing. Insight into how a farming family lived combined with current modern amenities. All the bathrooms are quite luxurious, the beds extremely comfortable, and lots of room for a large group. The grandkids loved the chicken coop, surprised at the quantity of eggs daily. The swimming pool was a huge perk something I always desire on a summer get away. Enough outside space to hit a few baseballs safely. Enjoyed the screened in porch at night for games and puzzles. (Able to leave a puzzle on one of the many tables to work on gradually.) S’mores by the fire pit always a hit with the kids unfortunately cut short by a little rain this trip. The house could’ve accommodated a larger group than ours. Enough separate areas to take a break and read with large spaces for many to gather. Knowing the future plan is to expand for multiple outbuildings and rentals I’m glad we were able to be there solo on this trip although it was a too short.”

“The property was absolutely stunning! We especially loved the added touch of waking in and having fresh eggs from the chicken coop on the farm. Loved the privacy and having the pool all to ourselves. That was really nice, especially with the kids.”
