“Our overall experience was mixed. The cabin wasn’t quite as clean or well-maintained as we expected based on the photos. At first, the issues weren’t too noticeable, but over the course of our stay, we kept finding little things that made the experience less enjoyable. There were several inexpensive-looking upgrades that were already peeling or coming apart. We also found dirty dishes in the cabinets, the bed sheets did not appear to have been freshly cleaned, and there was quite a bit of trash around the outside of the property. The grill also didn’t work properly unless we manually lit it. The hot tub was another issue. It had such a strong bleach smell that we had to let it air out and run it for a while, but the smell remained strong enough that we couldn’t really enjoy using it. Overall, the property is what it is, and we tried to make the best of our stay. However, we had much higher expectations based on the listing photos.”

“Was very nice, interior is small, only two private rooms, one bathroom was a bit hard but everything was very clean and nice, very well stocked kitchen, hot tub was nice, very responsive hosts”

“This place had everything we needed for a weekend retreat from the city. Tony and the host were great at communicating, prompt in their response to any issues we had and clear in their instructions for our stay there. Overall, it was a great stay.”

“Inside the house was clean, but the living room furniture was stained. Walls need to be repainted, front door needs to be updated. Outside the deck is weathered needs to be re-stained and the steps leading up to the house need to be redone so they reach the driveway. Right now there are 3 railroad ties at the bottom that serve as steps and because they're uneven they can be tricky to navigate. I almost fell face first when carrying my suitcase up the steps. With a few tweaks this home can be quite a perfect little getaway.”
