“This place is way better than the description. The house is great. Kitchen has everything necessary to cook, which is important because there are not many restaurants very close by. Beds are super comfortable. Views and surroundings area are picturesque. Greater location for a summer family getaway.”

“Our stay was awesome. The only issues was the lack of water pressure in the primary shower. Water pressure seemed fine in the rest of the house. The hot tubs jets were not all working, only half worked properly. Thanks for a great weekend .”

“We had a wonderful time at the Bear Cub retreat. The location was perfect for what we wanted to see and do. We hiked Seneca Rocks, Bald Knob and explored Blackwater State park. We had read several negative reviews about the check out process. I would disagree. It was simple and easy and we did not need to take our trash to a separate location. The home was clean and private. If we are ever back in the area I would stay here again.”

“This place was perfect for our group. The space is designed really nicely so it feels like a large group can break out into smaller groups or coalesce into a full group naturally. The surroundings were beautiful . We decided to pay a bit more to stay here and be within 20 minutes of the ski area, and I’d say it was worth it.”
