“The view was beautiful, would be even better if some of the trees were trimmed back. Cabin was older and had a dated feel, but it had everything we needed for the week. It’s definitely remote, with some steep roads, so frequent trips into town aren’t ideal. One recommendation would be screens for the doors so we could have enjoyed the breeze without letting bugs in. Be mindful of the uneven rocks along the driveway and walkway, just part of being tucked away at the top of a ridge. Brought extra essentials from home but there was towels, soap and shampoo provided. Also brought bottled water as the posting suggested as the water did have a yellow/light brown appearance. The host was very responsive and helpful. We were lucky to have great weather to enjoy the spacious deck, beautiful morning views, and hot tub each evening.”

“Pros: The location was awesome. Cute little place. Quiet, woodsy, cozy. Loved both of the porches. Beds were comfortable and the hosts were on top of things and very responsive. Cons: Unfortunately we ran into a few issues. Looks like there was a bad water leak and the baseboards and floor were stained, rotting and there was a strong mildew/mold smell. The main bedroom had a strong pet urine smell as well. Also, the house itself wasn’t the cleanest as there was something all over the walls and windows. As long as it’s cleaned up, the place has great potential.”
