“Very disappointing stay. There appeared to be black mold around the windows from the leaking AC, mouse droppings throughout the property, and fans so covered in dust we didn’t want to use them. Most concerning, the oven leaked gas into the house due to an unlit pilot light, forcing us to shut off the gas and ventilate the house. While the host was respectful, the cleanliness and safety issues were unacceptable. I would not recommend staying here until these issues are resolved. We did end up leaving the house much earlier than the actual check out time about 6 hours earlier, due to the gas leak and feeling unsafe. I do not recommend this house in its current condition.”

“The setting was wonderful - close to the Baths at Berkeley Springs, and in the middle of a forest. The home was large enough for everyone to have their own space. Since it rained the entire time, we were not able to enjoy the fire pit or the hot tub, but they looked inviting.”
