“Wonderful location, exceptionally clean, more remote than we realized (30 mins drive to groceries), ensure you have robust shoes for beach - lots of oyster shells, dog hurt his paws (no fault of host or house)”

“PLEASE READ: Lake was great, but issues with listing description: ~Cons~ -GPS takes you past driveway, NOT marked with the Vacasa sign. Look for White Wooden Sign with black numbers "321". -The Rustic Root Lodge sign very faded. -Lockbox is right next to the front door, not "on a post in front of the wood shed." -Cabin and Lake paths have overgrown vegetation. -Community Park Passes were MISSING. Google search says HOA will tow vehicles without a pass. -Only ONE Kayak and Paddle, two dirty kayaks without paddles, one dirty inflatable paddleboard with half of a paddle, and a dirty two paddle boat (we cleaned it). -Sleeper sofa was not comfortable. Pros: -Wifi works great. -Cabin is well stocked and linens mostly clean. -Dishes were clean and plenty of firewood and propane gas. -Clean lifevests in paddleboard bag. -Lake was great, paddled to the community park and jumped off docks. *I did contact the host who responded quickly and will be looking into these issues to get them resolved.”

“I've been coming to Maggie lake my entire life, but this the first time utilizing Airbnb for a stay. the cabin was beautiful with lots of charm, well stocked and in a perfect location! I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone for stay”

“This is a lovely cabin in a beautiful location. Please note, however, that the wood stove contributes significantly to heating the cabin so some knowledge of stove use is helpful. Unfortunately there was no kindling or fire starter provided, and only small hatchets making it difficult to split the large pieces of wood on our own. We ended up driving back to town for newspaper and kindling. Every other aspect of this rental was picturesque, relaxing, and enjoyable.”
