Overall, the stay was pleasant, but we would like to note a few concerns. 1. The guest bathroom bathtub had water clogging. 2. Upon entering the house, it smelled like a closed space that had not been opened for days. 3. Train sounds were somewhat irritating. 4. Although the 10 AM checkout time was stated, an 11 AM checkout would be helpful for extra packing time.

The property is very upscale, clean, with all the needed amenities. Plenty of towels, toiletries, dishwashing elements and a washer/dryer in the property. The restaurants in the area are walking distance as well as the well stocked supermarket.

Great home with excellent views! We really enjoyed the porch overlooking the Colombia River. We also appreciated the fully stocked kitchen. Loved the activities in the region: great hikes, swimming and kayaking (we did the sunset paddle with Pedal and Paddle 10/10)

The view from the house is stunning. The environment was peaceful and the train added charm to the location. The open floor plan allows you to see the incredible view from the kitchen when you cook, the dinning room, and living room. The swivel chairs were a great touch allowing us to see out the front or swing around and meet with friends or family. The bedrooms were big and spacious. There is not a lot of closet space and only the primary bedroom has a chest with drawers. The linens and towels were plentiful and the kitchen well stocked (one of the best, I've ever stayed in). There was a picnic basket we enjoyed using when we visited the falls in Oregon. I could spend hours on the porch mesmerized by the surroundings...birds circling above, kite surfers, barges, sailboats, and paddle boats. Four of us enjoyed our vacation home away from home!
