“We loved our stay in this beautiful home on this quiet lake. Everything was as described and perfectly clean. There were enough supplies in the kitchen to feel at home. We loved time in the hot tub and relaxing on the decks.”

“There was a musty smell as soon as we got in. There was mold on the tables and chairs. There were dead bugs inside and around the fridge. The sheets were dirty. Nothing about the home felt clean. The listing states other residents on the property but I asked where they live. If it was upstairs or nearby. Never received an answer. There is a small home and RV parked there. It felt unsafe, unclean and not livable compared to other homes we have stayed at so we left right away and did not go back.”

“Upon arrival, I had the detailed instructions provided and attempted to open the front door computerized deadbolt. It didn’t work, and I had to call Vacasa. Thankfully they were responsive, but I had to get a key out of a lockbox attached to a filthy bbq covered in spider webs. Entering and leaving the home during our stay was frustrating due to the lock spinning round and round to lock and unlock. The amenities of the outdoor seating area was rendered unusable due to mosquitoes and bugs all over the furniture in addition to the gross barbecue which shouldn’t be considered an amenity in the first place. Upon entering the home, the smell of mildew and cleaning products was strong. They obviously cleaned which is great but the mildew smell, visible mildew on baseboards in the bathroom as well as on linens suggest a serious mildew problem in the property, and is not a safe breathing environment. This issue should be addressed ASAP. All this to say, I would not return to this property.”
