“took the family to our nieces graduation after a 18 hour drive from California it was nice to be able to relax in such a beautiful home kids had a great time the only downfall was we couldn't stay longer neighbors where very friendly definitely would love to stay here again”

“We didn’t end up staying here and contacted airbnb for a refund which we were granted. Upon arriving the place seemed fine, the bed and bedding were different than the picture and there is an iPad mounted right in front of the shower that isn’t shown on listing. The room was set up but when we went to use the towels they were all damp and they were almost grey from being discolored. When we pulled back the bedding we found hairs all over the linens, stains on the pillows, and the pillows smelled like BO and perfume. There were several spider webs inside, and crumbs/garbage in the utensils. The thing that sent us over the edge was there was a small piece of paper towel on the rug that had blood on it. It was small, but big enough to be gross. We contacted the host to ask for a refund and they told us they would have cleaners come back the next day. We said we didn’t want to wait a night for cleaners and were grossed out. They refused a refund so we went through Airbnb. Very shady.”

“Beautiful location and view is peaceful but the house needs maintenance. The dryer causes the alarm to sound, the time on the basement dryer was broken, the coffee table was broken, the grill did not have a tank and when we bought a tank to use, the grill was broken and did not work. The basement bathroom door would not close. The view is beautiful but you cannot walk on the dock because of the large amount of geese poop on it. We were awakened by the neighbor’s noisy dog that was placed in a fenced in area within 10 feet of the house. The dog barked for three straight hours. We believed the dog belonged to the owner of the property. As a AirBnB owner, I hate leaving this review but the owner seemed uninterested in fixing all of the problems with the property.”
