“We enjoyed staying here. The location is perfect, it’s one hour away from both downtown and Mt Rainier. House comes with private lake access with paddle boats and kayaks. The lake is very peaceful, we highly recommend boating on it.”

“The place was beautiful, and the location peaceful. The widows overlooking the lake is great and we enjoyed the peace and quiet. The kitchen lacks basic amenities (i.e., colandar to strain pasta, baking dishes, serving dishes, anything to really cook meals if you wanted to, there wasn't even a cookie sheet big enough to put a frozen pizza on as the two provided are small.) There was oil, salt and pepper, nothing else - so bring any spices you want. So, when they say starter items are provided, they really mean it - do not plan to cook family meals there. The air conditioner was broken upon arrival (end of July and hot), and windows in spare room didn't open making the place unbearably hot - Note: host did not fix the AC the entire week we were there. Other than those items, the place is beautiful, clean, and spacious.”

“Our stay was very disappointing due to several serious issues. The apartment had bugs everywhere, and the host’s only suggestion was to use bug spray. With a 10‑year‑old staying with us, spraying the entire flat was not a safe option.The design of the apartment was also impractical. The front door doubles as the bathroom door, which means if someone is using the restroom, other guests cannot enter the apartment. The ceiling is extremely low — anyone taller than 5'10" will constantly have to duck. There was no controllable AC; the panel seems to be upstairs, so we only had air‑conditioning when someone in the second‑floor unit turned it on. The soundproofing was poor, and we could hear every step from above.Outside the apartment, you can see spider webs, which explains why there were many spiders inside. Overall, the place is poorly maintained, strangely designed. It’s easy to see why this property has negative reviews, unfortunately, our experience matched them.”
