“My partner and I reserved this spot for ourselves and our in-laws for a 3 day getaway on the sound. The space was the perfect size for two couples and two toddlers. Think “beach cabin” vibes. The kitchen is well appointed and the detached patio is amazing for dinners prepared in it. The bedrooms are smaller, but still provide ample space and having three of them is optimal. We walked on the beach and saw deer, seals, snakes, birds, and all kinds of sea critters when the tide was low. The kiddos even swam at the beach just over the bluff from the cabin. The stairs are sturdy and safe to get down to the water. I ESPECIALLY enjoyed my morning coffee on the patio watching the mist roll out and the sun coming up to awaken the bay. Very good stay, worth the price, I totally recommend this spot for a tranquil quiet getaway.”

“The house is exactly as described in the listing; it is a quiet and safe place. The cleanliness inside the house was excellent, but the balcony and the chairs facing the lake were covered in cobwebs. The lake is small, so when motorboats pass by, they create waves that disrupt a peaceful swim. The neighbor constantly smokes marijuana—something I detest.”

“What a beautiful little space right on the lake. It was wonderful to live in a space where we were lake people for a short period of time- the private dock and shore space with the fire pit is dreamy! Great access to the Hood Canal but you'll want to hunker down and be on the lake in this gem.”
