“The place was clean and directions were in detail and checkin process was smooth.The only thing i found an issue was the wifi which was super slow and was informed to us 7 days prior to the date we booked. Apart from that everything else was smooth and clean.”

“I didn’t realize we would be almost on the lake! The photo made it look like we were up farther! So beautiful on lake Sutherland! This is a gated community, the house is for sale so I’m not sure how that will change this. The beds weren’t the most comfortable, the house is dated, the downstairs smells like mildew (but you are waterfront so it is to be expected over time) the washer was a little finicky, but we were suprised to find everything we needed to play on the lake and the views were spectacular! 10 min away from crescent lake lodge to put into perspective where you are in regards to the park. We were content but it could use some updating. So much potential!”

“The bed downstairs is extremely creaky and the top mattress is flimsy and uncomfortable. There is only one AC unit and it is in the kitchen. You cannot receive any deliveries here (not told to us beforehand). The host is not helpful. The surroundings are beautiful but I’d prefer somewhere else in the future.”

“Positives: - Location - View - Canoe & swimming area - Very comfortable beds Negatives - Lack of responsiveness or ability to sort an issue re: the A/C not working - although rental company were initially responsive, they gave up and didn’t get back in contact or sort the issue - Appliances and some plumbing very old and not always usable - Nearly all of the screens (windows & upstairs door) had holes in them so we couldn’t leave windows open at night, other than two small ones in the living room, or mosquitos would have come in - A number of the windows didn’t open or wouldn’t stay open so it was hard to get fresh / cool air in - 2 long, steep flights of stairs inside - would not be good for anyone that stairs were hard for. Overall, I felt this place was really not worth the price we paid. Probably ok if you just need somewhere simple to sleep but we’ve stayed in a number of AirBnBs and this one just wasn’t up to scratch. I’d look for a different place next time.”

“The setting for the cabin couldn’t be more beautiful! We really enjoyed sitting on the deck and swimming in the lake. And the location was so perfect inside the park. The cabin is nice. A bit rustic but very cozy and comfortable and had all the basics you would need. Two things to note - as others have said, ignore the instructions about the iron gate. There’s a sign by the lane with three house numbers, follow that to the end of the lane. The other thing - no matter how we tried, the lock would not lock from the outside. (This seems to able an ongoing issue.) I reached out to the management company, which turns out is not local. They gave me suggestions for several other brands of locks other than the actual one, before saying they would refer me to someone local. I heard from that person on our last night. Which wasn’t their fault, the management company had listed the issue as not urgent. Just know that there isn’t easy local help should something go awry.”
