“Amazing views and comfy beds. The place was clean and uncluttered. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking in. Our family of 4 found this to be a good basecamp for exploring the area.”

“The location is a few miles out of town (about 10 minutes). But if you want an ocean view this is the place. My wife and I just sat on the deck and relaxed watching the waves come in and listening to the ocean. You can simply step over the approximatly 4' sea wall and walk down the beach (although when it's high tide there's not much beach available). The big windows make the view just as good from inside the house as well. The only potential drawbacks I could see would be if you had more people. The only full bathroom is in the master bedroom (there's a 1/2 bathroom, toilet and sink) upstairs, but to shower you have to go through that room which some people may not care for. Also the other bedroom didn't appear to have AC and was really warm when we checked it out. The rest of the house had AC/heat and was perfect and perhaps if we left the double door open that room would have been fine as well. Neither of these may be an issue for you, but that was what we noticed. Overall great.”

“Jiaqi's place was so close to the water, literally right outside the back deck, with a lovely view and sound was so memorizing and good for the mind, body and soul. That being said, what other folks have said about the home and the listing are spot on. It's in need of TLC. The listing is misleading as there was some deck furniture, but it was so weathered, torn up and no seat cushions we couldn't use. Also, we planned on using the paddleboards and kayaks as advertised and signed their waivers, but the door was not only keypad locked, but deadbolt locked too. It was frustrating and I didn't want to spend what little time we had left trying to figure out the garage situation. The host was communicative did their best to try and help figure out the garage door issue, which was appreciated.”

“I was looking forward to surprising my girlfriend with this seemingly beautiful location. Which it was, the view was breathtaking. Thats about the only positive thing I can say. The photos seem to be outdated because some of the photos did not match the actual property with missing furniture that was in the listing. Without even trying I killed about 30 mosquitoes inside the house. It was not very cleanly and run down. The Shower/Bathtub that is not shown in the photos was missing a handle for the hot water and was outdated. What irked me the most was there was only one hand soap in the kitchen and none in the two bathrooms. I mentioned this to the host on day one and she told me I was welcome to use the kitchen hand soap. The next day she asked me if there was anything we needed so I mentioned again we still needed hand soap for the bathrooms and she gave me the same response. lastly it being a lower unit we heard everything that was going on above. I would not recommend staying here”
