“Overall, it worked for our family. Beautiful view and location, but we had issues with sand in the doors/windows and piled up on the deck like snow drifts. There are two stairways and everything is on multiple levels, so I would not recommend for families with toddlers (it was tricky keeping our grandson safe). Other than the issues with sand, it had been cleaned well, but there were stains on the furniture and bedding. We couldn’t find the outside trash bins and management was unable to resolve that. We ended up grabbing a can from the roadside and hoping it was the right one. Window treatments were sparse or missing, which made the 5 am sunrise painful. Nevertheless, we enjoyed being able to spread out in the multiple living spaces.”

“The house is in a beautiful spot, with great views. However, it is in dire need of a deep cleaning. Windowsills were dirty, with blown in sand and dead flies. Cabinet faces grubby. Worst were the grimy shoe prints and random dirty spots in the master bathroom. The floor there needed a good scrubbing, not a cursory sweep. Towels are thin and dingy. This is one of those vacation rentals where it’s clear the owners are seldom there. It had that neglected air about it, with overgrown flowerbeds, very dirty exterior windows, sand in the outdoor corners, etc. I should have trusted former reviews re: cleanliness. They need to hire a top team out here, honestly, to make sure the place is sparkling. Fridge light was burned out, as was a bulb over dining table. Overpriced for what you get, unfortunately.”

“We really appreciated that the house had a dock for our boat, allowing us the opportunity to be close to the San Juans. The neighborhood was peaceful and walkable. I enjoyed several walks throughout the weekend.”
