“Heads up, this is a stairs-only walkup. One photo's angle suggests ground-floor access, but it isn't. There is no door code despite one being stated and provided; you pick up a physical key from the office when you arrive. (They are not open 24/7.) A few other things worth knowing. My Verizon phone showed SOS-only the entire stay, so plan on no cell service if that is your provider. I only learned about the internet problems through emails received after the booking was complete. The unit has a strong, stale odor that hits you the moment you open the door. The bedding and extra blankets are worn. If you just need a place to sleep, it's okay. If you're expecting any luxuries, contemporary furniture, or updated appliances, this isn't it. To be transparent, I did not address any of this with the host as I had no service and nothing could be remedied immediately anyway. Note for the host: consider a QR code for tipping the housekeeper. A lot of people don't carry cash anymore.”

The photos honestly don’t do it justice. the property is right on the water, with beautiful views and such a quiet, private atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax, recharge, and just enjoy being present. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful escape.”
