Mt. Baker Lodging in Maple Falls, Washington

“This was perfect for our group of 8 adults! The rooms were large and comfy. The house was spacious and private with beautiful views. The lake was gorgeous and we enjoyed the hot tub. Downstairs was a great place to hangout, watch tv and play pool. Excellent gathering place and we would all come back again! A few negatives, not deal breakers but good to note for any future visitors. The hot tub was excellent, but there were only 8 towels so people had to use their shower towel as a hot tub towel. Second the inside fireplace was beautiful, but the instructions for using it could use some clarifying. The directions clearly say the flue should be pointing toward the lake, which was not accurate. Photos of the direction the flue should be pointing would be helpful. Finally, there were no basic spices or oils in the kitchens. Was noticed by the first person who arrived and we were able to grab some on the way out, but would have been nice to know ahead of time.”

“Such a lovely location and home to stay in for a relaxing weekend in or a weekend on the mountain. The sauna and hot tub (which we actually used as a cold plunge) were so nice!”

“Absolutely beautiful cabin, excellent heating in both main cabin and bathrooms. Well kept, very comfortable. Easy to use, and check in was super easy using the drop box provided.”

“Very cool property. Three story, four bedroom, 2.5 bath, one big wood fireplace and two propane fireplaces. Lots of room for a large group. Basement has a pool table and bar and tv and couch. Second story has a hot tub. Lake access isn't the best, steps down to the lake are slippery and have rebar sticking up. Not much sunshine with all of the trees. Both decks are slippery from moss/moisture. Road access to property isn't very good, probably 3-5 miles, full of potholes and very narrow and partially overgrown. Needs maintenance badly. Certainly one of the property owners that share the road own a tractor and blade? Check in is weird, you have to go to Mt Baker Lodging's office in Maple Falls to pickup the keys, they don't utilize a lock box at the house like most rentals do. Overall, a great property!!”
