“Lovely peaceful setting and a wonderful home for a Whidbey Island getaway. I will say the only down side was, despite the large parking area, the rule is for only 2 cars with no other option for leaving a car nearby. Given that my extended family came in 4 cars from 4 very different locations - all with trunks full to food to cook together for the 3 night stay, this caused a lot of challenges for my particular group. Despite the great home and surroundings, we would likely stay somewhere else next time due to this inconvenience. Something to consider while booking!”

“This vacation rental is a beautiful setting, right on the water. However, it appears not well maintained, signage to the unit (there are several) was not as advertised so it was difficult to find, the overall complex is on the market, so I don't believe the rental is a priority. It took over an hour to get the lock situation addressed, poor/slow wifi, dirty windows, trash left in the bathroom from previous tenant, and parking is very difficult. There's a Keurig machine, but not coffee. I stayed on a holiday weekend and other cars were parked in the one spot allowed (only one car), so I ended up leaving and sleeping at a friend's house so as not to block other cars. This may not be the situation on non-holiday weekends, but the experience overall was not great.”

“The outside of the house is beautiful, and the view is definitely the highlight of the property. Unfortunately, the inside was a completely different experience. As soon as we walked in, there was a strong musty odor, like the house hadn't been lived in for a long time. Within minutes, we found a large spider. While an occasional spider is understandable, we ended up killing numerous spiders throughout our stay. There was one crawling toward my nephew, another in the bathtub, and later a large flying beetle in the bedroom while we were watching a movie. At that point, we no longer felt comfortable staying. The downstairs smell was so bad that we stayed upstairs as much as possible. On top of that, the address provided led us to the wrong house, and we had to find the property ourselves. Customer service couldn't relocate us that night, so we ended up cutting our trip short.”
