“The outlets in the primary bathroom didn’t work. We booked to have air conditioning, only to discover that the thermostat is not in the unit and we had to request that the host change it. We asked them to turn on air conditioning and when they finally responded, they turned on the heat. We couldn’t open the windows for air because there are no screens and mosquitoes outside. The host only turned on the AC when we demanded that they send us a screenshot of the thermostat and pointed out that they turned on the heat for us all night. There’s no airflow in this unit and there’s no way it’s up to code. 2/3 lightbulbs in the other bathroom were out and that one was dirty upon arrival. The host will not address your concerns and pretends to not see that part of any message. We had a miserable stay and it was so sad, because the lake and dock are beautiful and we had been so excited. Do not stay here. This was a bare bones accommodation disguised as luxury. No hvac and spotty electrical.”

“The place is great; right on water with dock; high ceilings; tons of light and great view. Beautiful expansive kitchen, but not well equipped for this price range. They have responded to previous reviews by adding wine glasses and more coffee cups, for example, and we suggested a couple more things. Colander ordered but was delivered upstairs to watch for that happening again. Told them to get mixing bowl and replace the black cooking utensils (that degrade and are unhealthy) with wood and white plastic. (They avoid metal due to non-stick cookware like most vacation rentals.) Also told them two toasters broken (one could be pushed down with the back of a spoon). Forgot to suggest a blender. All in all, we were delighted with the place, esp. views and ability to dive in the lake from the dock.”
