The house has a lot of character and is located on a large piece of property near the water. There’s lot of vegetation- apple trees, blackberries, etc. it’s quirky and comfortable, but needs a little maintenance on the outside. It was great for a family get together - lots of rooms and common areas. The location is beautiful.

We loved this space. It was cozy, well stoked, and we had a great trip. I didn't know before I booked this space, but this AirBnB is on the Port Madison Reservation, and I don't know if the Suquamish folks see any of the proceeds of places like this. In the future, I don't think I'll be booking a space through this app and on such colonized land.

The Eagle House is a great place to stay for a big family or group. The best part was the deck and awesome view. We are regulars in Indianola and I would definitely stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at the Eagle House. The house was wonderful! It was clean and the kitchen was well equipped. The outdoor furniture was abundant and in very good condition. Coffee on the porch each morning (and evenings as the sun went down) looking at the view of Mount Rainer was one of the highlights of our trip. We even saw an orca from the porch. It was very appreciated to have such a nice propane grill that we used for cooking dinners while we were there. We were disappointed about the yard. It was one of the selling points; however, it didn't look like the pictures shared and was mostly unusable. It needed mowing/weed eating/raking. You could tell that there was a base of beautiful landscaping, but it was severely overgrown. The firepit area pictured was overgrown and unusable as well. My mother who uses a cane was not able to enjoy the yard because it was too overgrown/uneven.

Beautiful old home, some things need to be patched up due to age and wear and tear and age of the house but it was perfect for what we needed and very peaceful. Host was very responsive. Only thing to recommend is bring your own streaming stick (Roku/fire stick) which is much faster than trying to use theirs- there is only one tv in the house and the internet is not very good so the Roku from our house worked better when connected. The tub downstairs has a shower function- wish they would put a ceiling curtain around it for showering, perfect for tubs though.
