“Unfortunately, our stay did not meet our expectations. The property was not clean upon arrival. We found stained bed linens, a dirty freezer, sunflower seed shells scattered inside the house and throughout the backyard, and even a used diaper attached to a stick outside. We also later discovered several bags of garbage left next to the house that began to smell during our stay. In addition, the dryer was not working properly and it ran but produced no heat, so we couldn't dry our clothes. The host responded politely and apologized after we reported the issues, but these problems should have been addressed before guests arrived. The number of cleanliness and maintenance issues significantly affected our stay. The location is beautiful, but the property was not in the condition we expected based on the listing.”

“The location itself was very peaceful and relaxing. We took the kayaks out at night and noticed the water with movement would light up this neony color which was really cool! We come out to twanoh state park every year but this year it was just wayyy too cold at hood canal to swim. The water at the bnb location would get back up towards evening when the sun is already hidden so that was unfortunate. Apart from that beautiful location!”

“Was really cool to see the seals out on the back steps in the morning and watch them swim around in the water! Everything was just as shown in the pictures. I only wish it would have included a peddle boat/canoe but we brought our own floaties so it worked out. The grocery store just a couple blocks away (walking distance) was super nice for stocking up on food, I was really impressed with the variety of things they had to offer.”

“This house is in a great location right on the hood canal. The house itself is a bit dated, but everything was functional and comfortable. the included kayaks and life vests are in good shape and were much appreciated!”
