“The location was great - near Westport, near the beach, away from crowds. Check-in and check-out were both very easy. The house is a bit funky, with some very dated architecture and appliances, but it was totally livable and the beds were comfy. We used the grill on the back porch. The biggest reason for a low rating was that the place was a mess. Snus pouch in the upstairs sink, trash in several trash cans inside, mold under the thermostat, the floors clearly not vacuumed (there was gravel, dead bugs, and thorns). The worst was the stairs - which had poop smeared along several steps. (It looked like dog poop.) We contacted the owners and they offered to send out the cleaning crew again, but by then we'd tidied our best and didn't want to be interrupted by the same crew that left it that way. However, the rating was bumped up because the owners were responsive and tried to work with us.”

“The place was a good location for a last minute change of plans for a birthday trip. Very close to the beach. Although, the ground floor bathroom door knob was a bit of a challenge to lock; water pressure was alright; to flush the toilet you needed to push harder than usual; and there seemed to be burrs all over the carpets and rugs, so it seemed like the place wasn't really vacuumed prior to arrival. Overall a good location for a quick trip to the Westport area which was appreciated.”

“Overall, a wonderful family style home with thoughtful touches to include board games, cards, even some toys. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend as a comfortable home that’s walking distance to the beach.”

“The location was perfect—just a 5-minute walk to the beach, which made it super convenient. The grill area was cozy and a great spot to relax. The Airbnb itself was clean and well-kept. I especially liked the first floor—it made for a really nice hangout area. Overall, a great place to stay!”
