“The “Evergreen Hideaway” is a great location to lodge in central Federal Way, WA. The hideaway-cottage is centrally located in a quiet area of Federal Way just a short drive from Interstate 5. It’s perfect for guests who want to explore Seattle, Fife, Tacoma, or the Mt Rainier area but return to a peaceful, secluded, easy to find, and well-equipped Airbnb to unwind. Parking is just outside the front door. Our Airbnb host, Vacasa, is approachable, easily contacted, responsive, and maintains a resource binder with information about the house policies and places to dine around the area. Vacasa is has good organization & communication. Overall, a 5-star place to lodge.”

“Overall we enjoyed our stay, but we did have some issues. When we pulled up I thought we were in the wrong place because the yard is very over grown and looks nothing like the listing photos. It was confusing to get in touch with the host because they bombarded me with text messages from different numbers and it wasn’t clear who to contact. The front door is really sticky and hard to lock. Blinds were broken, food splatter on kitchen walls, beds were hard, pillows were flat, and light blocking curtains would have been very much appreciated.”

“Really enjoyed my stay here. The place was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. The only thing that would’ve made it even better would be blackout curtains — especially coming from Texas, where I’m used to later sunrises, the 5am sunrise took some getting used to. Other than that, everything was great and I’d definitely stay here again.”
