“There is a ton of room; a grand space. The damage waiver was excessive; the place was minimally stocked; quite dusty; this place earned an extra star over 3 stars due to the extremely fantastic outdoor deck experience (i.e. eagles, herons, sunsets)”

“The house and location were overall nice. However there were a few concerns, including doorhandles breaking off, lack of kitchen essentials, wet towels folded and put away in the master bath, and overgrown trees and plants in the driveway making it difficult to get down the driveway without scratching your car. There were no stairs to get down to the beach and so the neighbors let us use theirs. It was said the neighbors would call the cops on us if we used their stairs, but the neighbors were very kind and generously let us use theirs without issue. The BBQ was so neglected it took 30 minutes to ignite it and there was no BBQ lighter available in the house. The vent covers also weren't attached and were easily removed by our 1 year old, creating a safety hazard. There were also burnt out lightbulbs and the shower head in the master was cracked. This house could be amazing, but is definitely in need of some TLC.”

“We had a lovely stay and really appreciated the great location. It was convenient and made getting around easy. The place was comfortable. The only thing to note is that the 10 AM checkout felt a little tight, especially since we weren’t offered flexibility around the checkout time.”

“The home is spacious, has beautiful water views, a nice fire pit, and the host was responsive whenever we reached out. However, we specifically booked this home because it was listed as a no-pet property due to family allergies. During our stay, we found pet-related signage, a guest book stating the home was pet friendly, and a pet area with a pet bed and food/water bowls, which conflicted with the listing. While I appreciate that the host plans to update these items, they should have been removed before the home was advertised as a no-pet property. I ultimately had to involve Airbnb to receive a partial refund. I hope the listing and home are updated so future guests, especially those with allergies, can rely on the accuracy of the listing.”
