“The house and property are stunningly beautiful and far better than we anticipated. In the same family for generations, this beauty is an artistic treasure. We spent the daytime down on the beach, late afternoon in the hot tub, and evenings inside on the new furniture in front of the massive wood burning fireplace. This house is extremely comfortable and easily accomodated two couples and three teens. The internet worked fine, but it is true there is no cellular. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we need to cook and grill. There are a number of handyman maintenance issues (screen door, grill ignitor, door locks, cobwebby side deck), but the sheer beauty of the river, the forest, and the log house itself dwarf the negatives. Sorry to see the personal touch that Vacasa was known for gone. We hope Avari can provide a better organized and more "human" customer service experience for future guests. Tip: visit nearby Dougan Falls!”

“The view was absolutely breathtaking of the Columbia River. The location was perfect for my family and friends since we wanted to visit Mt. St. Helen trials plus explore the Columbia River Gorge. Also, don’t skip out on going to the Bonneville Hatchery. The airbnb was well stocked with essentials and the grocery store was close.”
