Stay Bubo in Orange, Virginia

“The house was great for our group of 12 women for a bachelorette party! It was spacious, very clean, and had a very well stocked kitchen. I would definitely rent this house again. Just a couple things that would have been nice to know beforehand, but in no way diminished our fun: you are in the woods and near a lake, so it was very buggy and there was no shortage of spiders. The oven is VERY tiny and not ideal for cooking for a large groups of people. Some of the reviews suggest that the grill is only on the boat dock, however there is also one at the house.”

“The house was nice but we had a real issue with amenities which were falsely listed. We only booked this house because of the listed amenities (specifically kayaks and beachfront and they didn't exist). There are no kayaks, no beachfront, no gaming console, no designated workspace with ergonomic chair, no ping pong table, no arcade games and no exterior security cameras. We ended up needing to rent our own kayaks on both days of our visit which was frustrating and expensive. Additionally, the exterior was not well kept. the grass was very long in the entire backyard area and the porches were covered in cob webs everywhere. We tried communicating with Stay Bubo and Airbnb and its been multiple days and we have still not heard an apology or a serious offer to refund us for part of our stay”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful Airbnb. The house has a gorgeous interior, and the Great Lake view was absolutely stunning. It was a peaceful and relaxing setting, and the home itself was very inviting. The main downside was the cleanliness of the outdoor areas. The deck and the glass doors could have been cleaned more thoroughly, as they were noticeably unclean and took away a bit from the otherwise beautiful experience. Overall, we had a lovely stay and especially appreciated the beautiful home and amazing lake views. With a little more attention to the cleanliness of the deck and glass doors, this place could be exceptional.”

“We are enjoyed our stay at this home. It was very spacious even for a group for 14 of us. The oven was a bit small to cook for this large of a group, but other than that it had great amenities.”
