“The home has good potential and is in a convenient, quiet location, but several issues made the stay disappointing. Communication before arrival was overwhelming, with long messages that buried important details like the check‑in code. Early check‑in questions were met with generic responses and no follow‑up. The house didn’t feel clean on arrival—stale smell, crumbs on counters and floors, spiders in the kitchen, and outdoor trash bins overflowing for the entire stay. When reported, the responses were matter‑of‑fact with no apology, and the bins were never emptied. Inside, there were stained furnishings, a dirty and tattered towel left out, mismatched items, and an overgrown yard that made the outdoor space hard to enjoy. Basic amenities were inconsistent (missing hand soap, 3‑in‑1 products, smelly kitchen sponges), and the beds were uncomfortable. With better cleaning, consistent essentials, yard upkeep, and clearer communication, this could be a great property.”

“The house was not as clean as one would expect. I had to wash all the dishes prior to use. The hot tub should have a walkway with lights. Outside furniture might be something to consider. More than one TV would be a good option as well.”

“This host intentionally failed to disclose the need for an off-road vehicle to access the property. We paid for 11 days, $1700+, and we could not get to the home. When I called, he suggested that we leave our vehicle parked on the road and 'climb!' The 50 yard gravel driveway that has about a 40° rise...with our luggage and pets. He refused to allow us to cancel. Airbnb supports this fraudulent practice and refuses to require the host to repay any of our money. This host should be prosecuted for Fraud and Theft by Deception. The fact that this is their policy proves it. They had plenty of time to relist and re-rent the property. He chose not to so he could keep our money and not have to clean the home afterward. Do not give this thief your money.”

“I booked in a location that was far from where I needed to be. Messaged host within 15 minutes m to notify them and to ask to cancel the reservation. Of course people are money hungry offered to allow me to cancel but if the place did not rebook i would lose my money with them and pay for a new place. To me it’s was unhelpful.”

“There were some issues 1. Kitchen sink was slow/stopped. Advised host on day 2 with the response that they were sending their maintenance man twice he never showed. 2. Fire alarm system (outside door) alarm went off at 3 am because of needing a battery replacement with beeping. That did get fixed/reset by technician while we were out for the day”

“Good place, has supermarkets and great restaurants at a walkable distance, very peaceful neighborhood, and the apartment is really spacious, comfortable and cozy. However, when we arrived the kitchen was dirty and also we had to clean the fridge, but besides that very nice stay had everything you need for a good stay.”

“Pros: -Beautiful home!! An abundance of space for larger sized parties -Super spacious, we really felt like there was enough room for all guests -Beautiful amenities- the furniture looked like the pictures -Wonderful fenced in backyard (there aren’t pictures posted but it does exist and it’s very nice) -Beautiful neighborhood, felt safe and comfortable -Some outdoor furniture when the weather is nice, plus a lovely porch -The bathrooms were nicely done—you could tell the home was rehabbed -The bunk bed sizes were nice (spacious, not like the typical twin size mattresses) -Nice/private driveway plus garage for parking multiple cars was great -Beautiful/functional kitchen area -Would definitely book again! Cons: -Could use a couple more TVs (just a suggestion) -Advertised options for early check in and late check out but was told it wasn’t available (it was just an automated message that gets sent when you book, that was disheartening as it was something we were hoping for)”

“This place could be nice with a little more effort. I enjoyed the kitchen and the pond has great fishing, but that was the extent of it. The listing was very unclear about how close together the two cabins on the property are (about 8 feet apart). It was advertised as private on 40 acres of land, and based on the glass walls in the photos I expected much more privacy. What’s the point of a shower with a view if you can’t open the curtains? The path to the cabin was extremely icy and difficult to walk on and it was clear that it was never sanded or salted. There were dirty dishes put away and the cups on the shelves had bugs in them and bugs on the shelves. There was mouse poop on the counter and in the sink when we arrived. I would not book this again.”

“We enjoyed our stay. The view was amazing and we really loved the hot tub. Unfortunately when we arrived, a few of the windows were left unlocked and one was open. There was a lot of dust of the crown molding and room corners. We encountered quite a few bugs. We heard a lot of moving around in the attic, there was definitely something living up there. Overall, the place could definitely use a better cleaning crew. However, we had a very relaxing, enjoyable time.”

“Location great - size great But beware the beds are equivalent to a frat house - one not even on a bed frame. Bed spreads, blankets & mattresses & hot tub need an investment. Also the hot tub did not work & the management company knew it & I asked for confirmation that it did work before we arrived because if prior reviews; & they said it did work, but they also said whether it worked or not was not a reason to move (that’s not what the Airbnb add says btw) or get a partial refund & we got there it was 61 degrees. They sent someone out - & although he did get it to heat for one day…& the company was out there on the regular. None of the jets or buttons worked & after using it one night it got cold again quick. We did not bother to spend our time worrying about it but - Very disappointed. Do not say you have a hot tub if you don’t have a functioning one & alittle investment would go along way. The place could be higher rated otherwise”
