The house was nice but we had a real issue with amenities which were falsely listed. We only booked this house because of the listed amenities (specifically kayaks and beachfront and they didn't exist). There are no kayaks, no beachfront, no gaming console, no designated workspace with ergonomic chair, no ping pong table, no arcade games and no exterior security cameras. We ended up needing to rent our own kayaks on both days of our visit which was frustrating and expensive. Additionally, the exterior was not well kept. the grass was very long in the entire backyard area and the porches were covered in cob webs everywhere. We tried communicating with Stay Bubo and Airbnb and its been multiple days and we have still not heard an apology or a serious offer to refund us for part of our stay

Very bad , the hot tub now work have mode in the master bedroom bathroom have blood on the sheets and the master bedroom. Did a acorn fail on my car and crack the crack my car window. And it is not a 4 bedroom or only a three 3 bedroom they say it was a 4 bedroom had a beehive outside and it stunned my son when he went outside to play.

The hot tub and view were fantastic. The house was fine. The pillows were new but not comfortable. Having to remove our trash requires going south and we were going north. Needing to empty the dishwasher before we left was a pain given we are paying for cleaning. The house was clean and roomy

The house itself was fine for our family stay. However, the next-door neighbor’s property made the visit uncomfortable. They have a large rainbow flag with clear satanic symbols (pentagrams), a wreath decorated with bones and an animal skull mounted on the brick wall, and another skull displayed on a post in the yard. These items are in plain view from the rental and from the street. I understand people have the right to display whatever they want on their own property, but the combination of satanic imagery, bones, and skulls felt disturbing, especially while traveling with a young child. If we had known about this beforehand, we would have chosen a different place. Guests who are sensitive to this kind of décor may want to look carefully at the surrounding area or street view before booking.

We arrived after a 4-hour drive to find the owners still cleaning , her family still in the home, check-in was late, & they didn’t finish clearing out until 4:55 PM. Was not professionally cleaned. No signage warning of copperhead season, my 75-year-old father startled by a copperhead hiding under the paddleboat because water equipment wasn’t stored properly. No spring on basement door & no blackout curtains, so bugs got in freely. We found centipedes in the bathroom, plus roaches and June bugs throughout. My son got bites (likely bed bugs or fleas)bed. windows had no curtains/blinds, so showering at night meant being visible to neighbors.Sheets didn’t seem changed, the toilet brush had feces on it, and we found a dirty diaper left in a closet. No garbage disposal (and no sign saying so), no WiFi, no TV in the main living room despite sleeping 10-12 guests, and landscapers showed up unannounced, , waking everyone, forcing us to come inside for 2 hours while they cut the grass.

House was in a great location. It was large enough for everyone to spread out. My children especially enjoyed the pool table and Xbox. The kitchen had a variety of utensils and cooking ware. The stove was very small and didn’t cook evenly. We also wished they had provided a proper sink catch for food rather than just a sink strainer basket. There were several dirty dishes that we needed to clean when we arrived. It also rained heavily while we were there and the gutters were in need of maintenance. Overall we felt like for what we paid the value was lacking a bit.

The home has good potential and is in a convenient, quiet location, but several issues made the stay disappointing. Communication before arrival was overwhelming, with long messages that buried important details like the check‑in code. Early check‑in questions were met with generic responses and no follow‑up. The house didn’t feel clean on arrival—stale smell, crumbs on counters and floors, spiders in the kitchen, and outdoor trash bins overflowing for the entire stay. When reported, the responses were matter‑of‑fact with no apology, and the bins were never emptied. Inside, there were stained furnishings, a dirty and tattered towel left out, mismatched items, and an overgrown yard that made the outdoor space hard to enjoy. Basic amenities were inconsistent (missing hand soap, 3‑in‑1 products, smelly kitchen sponges), and the beds were uncomfortable. With better cleaning, consistent essentials, yard upkeep, and clearer communication, this could be a great property.

This host intentionally failed to disclose the need for an off-road vehicle to access the property. We paid for 11 days, $1700+, and we could not get to the home. When I called, he suggested that we leave our vehicle parked on the road and 'climb!' The 50 yard gravel driveway that has about a 40° rise...with our luggage and pets. He refused to allow us to cancel. Airbnb supports this fraudulent practice and refuses to require the host to repay any of our money. This host should be prosecuted for Fraud and Theft by Deception. The fact that this is their policy proves it. They had plenty of time to relist and re-rent the property. He chose not to so he could keep our money and not have to clean the home afterward. Do not give this thief your money.

I booked in a location that was far from where I needed to be. Messaged host within 15 minutes m to notify them and to ask to cancel the reservation. Of course people are money hungry offered to allow me to cancel but if the place did not rebook i would lose my money with them and pay for a new place. To me it’s was unhelpful.

There were some issues 1. Kitchen sink was slow/stopped. Advised host on day 2 with the response that they were sending their maintenance man twice he never showed. 2. Fire alarm system (outside door) alarm went off at 3 am because of needing a battery replacement with beeping. That did get fixed/reset by technician while we were out for the day
