“Overall the stay was good. Getting in was super easy and the home was clean except for a few spider webs, sheets were very clean and beds were very comfortable. My only complaint would be maintenance of the outside of the home and the dock. The grass and landscaping was not well kept. The dock which is the main feature of the property had tons of spiders webs and many many active wasp nests with wasps swarming around. If the dock was swept for spider webs and maybe power washed occasionally including the boat that has been sitting for quite a while and is covered in spider webs I would have probably given it 5 stars.”

“Overall, we enjoyed our time here. The home is exactly as advertised—a classic '90s lake house with no major bells and whistles, which is what we expected. While the property is not directly on the lake, the dock is just a very short walk away. The biggest area for improvement would be cleanliness. The home could definitely use a deep cleaning, as there were cobwebs throughout the house. We also had a few maintenance issues. The refrigerator door pops back open every time you close it unless you double-check it, and the coffee pot was broken. We let the host know about the coffee pot and were told a replacement would be brought the next day, but unfortunately no one ever came. We rented this home because it was close to another family's house on the same street, and it worked out perfectly. The gated community is very walkable, and we could easily push our one-year-old in a stroller between the homes. Overall, despite a few issues, we had a good time and it was a great home base.”

“Lovely spot on the Lake; plenty of room for all. May need some updating. The second to last day our "Key code" for the house stopped working and we never heard back on a new code. Swimming was great!”

“The host is a property management company which makes the stay inflexible with pages of rules posted around the house. The home is a bit dated with some cobwebs in corners and random locations of light switches, but overall very comfortable. But the location was great. In a quiet, peaceful cove on the lake. The outside spaces like the dock and fire pit were exceptional which is what we were really there to enjoy anyway.”

“Overall well worth it. We enjoyed the house and the location/setting. Our complaints are that neither the gas grill nor the fire pit were functioning properly. Also, prior to our trip we had asked if there was a boat ramp and we were told there was not. However, reading the home instructions upon arrival there is access to a boat.”
