“We really enjoyed our stay and had a cozy, comfortable visit. The cabin felt safe, we slept well, and we especially appreciated the DVD selection since there wasn’t Wi-Fi. A few things future guests should know: there was no Wi-Fi during our stay. I wish I had known that before booking, so it may be helpful to mention that internet is unavailable or very spotty so guests can plan accordingly. The master bathroom didn’t have toilet paper or a toilet paper holder, so we ended up borrowing a roll from the second bathroom. This was also the first Airbnb we’ve stayed in that didn’t provide shampoo, conditioner, or body soap, so guests may want to bring their own toiletries. One other note that’s outside the host’s control: I would strongly recommend arriving in a four-wheel-drive vehicle. “We had an amazing weekend stay, only 20 mins from the Thornton Gap entrance, and 50 mins from old rag. Great views, and felt nice and cozy :)”airbnb

“We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this peaceful cabin in Luray. The cabin was spotless, incredibly cozy, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend getaway. It was the perfect place to disconnect from the busyness of everyday life, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the Shenandoah area. The location was ideal for exploring the park, and hiking Old Rag was definitely the highlight of our trip. After a long day on the trails, coming back to soak in the hot tub was the perfect way to unwind and recover. If you’re looking for a private, peaceful, and cozy cabin that’s conveniently located near some of Shenandoah’s best hikes, we couldn’t recommend this place more highly. We’d gladly stay here again!”airbnb
