“We enjoyed our stay at Hokie Hideaway. The house was perfect for our needs. The kids liked the games downstairs. The beds were very comfortable. All the instructions were clear from the time we booked until the time we checked out. The living room is right with the kitchen so you could cook and still talk with the people hanging out. We didn’t get to spend much time on the lake as we were there for a graduation. We did set up on the upper deck and it was pretty to look out on the lake. Loved the peaceful quiet and was able to see quite a few different birds than we have at home. Thank you for a great place to stay on such an important milestone.”

“The lake is beautiful. The house is very pretty and very roomy and comfortable. The problem was that the owners did nothing to keep up the outdoors. All of the deck furniture was dirty. Nothing had been wiped off. It looks like no one cleaned the gutters for a very long time. Also, there was a horrible smell of sewage that kept wafting up from Below the deck. The house was advertised as a hidden gem with a pool, but the pool was not open. The hot tub was out of order, and everything outside was dirty. Would be a great place if they would keep up the outside.”
