Blue Maple in Front Royal, Virginia

“We loved our stay in Front Royal! The Airbnb was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The area was peaceful and convenient, and we really enjoyed our time there. We’d definitely stay again!”

“I think this place was great, it’s worth what you pay, no noisy neighbors, you can hear the beautiful sounds of nature at night. The house stays cool with little help from the AC and fans. The house does not have a deadbolt, if you are a solo traveler just a warning. The only other thing I would warn other guests about, is the road to the Airbnb is gravel and steep, if you do not have a suv or truck with 4 wheel drive that’s a bit on the higher side this may not be the Airbnb for you, I can see it being an issue for someone with a car that’s not ment to go off pavement. The hills a little steep with rocks and a small rut in the middle of the road on the way up the hill. It was no issue in my Subaru Crosstreck but in a standard car I can see it being an issue. Other than that that it was amazing very homey and very chill away from the fast paced city life.”

“It was a very peaceful spot to stay and get away nice and quiet the hot tub was relaxing and clean. the houes had everything you for your stay. the apple house restaurant was so good but you have to kind of go off roading from the c house to get to it but it worthwhile going too.”

“We had lot of expectations on this Airbnb, but none of those matched, the photos didn’t match the Airbnb, as a couple we wanted hot tub to be private, but it was viewable to the road and there were trees branches above the hot tub, the bbq was tough to use because of lot of flies and it was also dirty. Would definitely not recommend this Airbnb for a couple/ family”

“The place looked like the pictures, was reasonably clean and had great AC. However, the listing was inaccurate. The listing said it was within walking distance of a community lake. I contacted the host before arrival and they confirmed this, saying the lake was a short walk down a community path, many guests enjoy swimming off the dock and we should bring camping chairs for seating. The lake was the main reason we chose that property but THERE WAS NO LAKE! The first night was filled with very confusing, unhelpful and inaccurate messaging about this with the “host.” It became clear had they never been to the property and were either an AI or customer service representative for company (Blue Maple) that has a lot of properties. They didn’t know anything about the property/area that wasn’t googlable and in the property manual. I’ve never left a bad review on AirBnB but claiming your property is next to a lake (with oddly specific details) when that is untrue is unnerving and broke trust”
