“We have used this company before with no issues and loved the house we stayed in the last time. This time there was no communication about the problems the Nor'easter was causing until the day of our rental when we had already left to travel 4 hours down to the island. They said there was a different house that was clean and ready to go for us. When we got to the house there were no linens or TP, the floors were disgusting, and multiple appliances were broken. The actual owners of the house did show up pretty quickly to try to fix some of the problems. Essentially we were just very disappointed with the house since it was not the one we wanted and in our opinion, should have costed less than the house we originally booked. Seaside Vacation said they would give us 50% off the first night due to the issues, but then when we called to talk to them, they said it was Airbnb problem to handle. Communication should have been happening before the day of the rental and other solutions given.”

“Asked to reschedule due to nor’easter, but was declined. Friday night we almost got stuck on the island and Saturday we were stuck without ability to get on the island and not able to get to main land in the morning. Later in the afternoon we were able get to dinner but very few place open and closed before 8pm. Sunday we left at 8 am so we didn’t get stuck between the island and main land. House was nice just wished they listened to the weather and allowed us to reschedule.”

“Very much enjoyed our stay- though it coincided with the front end of the nor'easter, the house was comfortable and well-equipped, an easy space to retreat to from the weather. We enjoyed picking up seafood from Gary Howard's down the road and eating on the deck overlooking the canal. The weather prevented us from spending time on the screen porch but it looked like a delightful space to relax. Convenient to downtown and the refuge- a great place from which to launch your Chincoteague adventures.”

“Beautiful place, but noticable musty moist smell upon entry, mouse droppings on the counter, shower liner obviously needing replaced, location was advertised as waterfront but is not but neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and location back off the road was nice away from traffic.”

“We enjoyed our stay! It was a beautiful room and very clean. The only trouble we had was the lock code didn’t work and there was no one in the lobby. The tv Wi-Fi also didn’t work. We were out most of the time going places so it was okay!”
