“The location was nice, but unfortunately we had a couple of major issues during our stay. The AC reached around 80° every night, which made it very uncomfortable to sleep. We were also surprised to find that guests are expected to haul their own trash away, yet there is no outside trash can provided. This was inconvenient, especially at the end of a stay. Overall, the property had potential, but the AC issue and trash situation really took away from our experience.”

“It’s decent. The third floor bedroom shower did not have hot water, there was not a comfortable chair or sofa to sit on. Very odd. The outdoor electrical outlets did not work”

“This would have been a 5 star stay if not for exposed carpet nails inside the property. I pierced my toe on one the first day and found others as our stay continued. The problem is that they are haphazardly located and, as demonstrated in my own case, are capable of puncturing the skin. Until this is rectified I can’t recommend staying at this unit. Once this is tended to, I would recommend as it’s a nicely appointed unit in a nice area. I believe the owner knows this to be an issue that requires tending to after my messages. I am hopeful other guests get to enjoy the unit, nail free, in the coming months/years.”

“Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The view is beautiful and most of the pictures are what you expect. We felt that the house could’ve been a bit cleaner. We also noticed an umbrella for the patio in the listing but it wasn’t there. This would’ve been helpful and more comfortable for us as we sat back there as it gets very hot. Also, the binder that was left and the communication with the rental agency had conflicting directions for check out procedures. Beach Betties is a cute cottage with a beautiful view!”
