“We stayed here for almost a week with our 10 year old. The location was perfect, kitchen was well stocked, beds were comfortable and the space was great. We cooked and grilled every day and the access to the lake was perfect. The mid century decoration and record were a cool addition. A few things to mention to other renters: -If you have small children I would be very cautious on the deck. -You have to drive your trash a few miles down the road. -You cannot access the top deck of the dock building. (We couldn’t access the first floor either, but i think that was our error.) -The linen package we paid for only included bedding for 2 beds, nothing for the pull out sofa. We would definitely stay here again!”

“We had an amazing week at Blue Ridge Beach at Smith Mountain Lake. The house was well equipped and very spacious. The setting was peaceful and stunningly beautiful. The house felt like a home with all the right touches. Everyone enjoyed their time on the dock, in the lake and around the firepit. This was our first trip to Smith Mountain Lake and we fell in love with the area the minute we took in the vistas of the lake. A highlight of our trip was the sound of the ice cream boat. We were ready each night to purchase ice cream right from the dock! We are ready to book our stay for next summer, hopefully at Blue Ridge Beach.”

“This home is beautifully decorated, well stocked w spice, and artfully decorated. It is 50 min from LU. Great vacations on the lake however their is a drought so the lake levelis llow It was wonderful for our family of 8 and dog bc it is very accessible. The path to the beach is paved and steep so if you needed a wheelchair to get someone down you could. We hung out on the deck and watched birds and went swimming. Smith Lake is clean, the trees are majestic. It was very peaceful. We used the grill however It isn't easy to start. Bring towels unless you get linen service which only gives 2 and 1 hand towels. The screens are hard to open to the back porch. Loved the porch area to eat and relax. The down stairs rec room has a pool table and portable ping pong but it is not level, but plenty of room to play board games and darts. Friendly neighbors and exceptionally comfortable and gorgeous. !Don't travel after dark, deer & roads are narrow. We would enjoy again for sure.”
