“Scott & Heather’s place is pristine and absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect place for a girl’s weekend trip, specially the tub was a plus. I have to say that they have thought about everything.. is one of the most complete airbnbs in terms of kitchen amenities and other supplies! It is very close (less than 10 min) to several wineries which was great for us as we were in a winery hopping trip. It is very quiet neighborhood and we felt safe. They were super responsive and communicative. One thing I would say that we didn’t know is that finding Uber may not be the easiest to find, specially at night. We used Uber and took about 15 min just to get one for a 4-7 min ride. Then couldn’t find an uber after the last winery at night and we were lucky that a very kind couple gave us a ride back. Scott and Heather have a huge list of things to do including private transportation that may be useful if you want to be on the safe side. We would definitely stay here again!”

“A Truly Magical Stay in Afton, Virginia Our stay at Scott and Heather Koehler’s vacation rental in Afton, Virginia, was absolutely wonderful! The home was beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean, and thoughtfully stocked. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare and serve a family meal for 10. We enjoyed the games, TVs, and relaxing outdoor hot tub. The beautiful setting made our stay truly magical, especially seeing the gorgeous horses, peacocks—including the friendly white one—and watching deer and fawns in the backyard. “So glad we selected this cottage for our trip. The home was easy to find and in a great location for the things we had planned while in town. There was ample space for the 4 adults in our trip - the cottage was spotless and very bright. The scenery was stunning - beautiful mountain views in every direction. We opted to stay an extra night and, thankfully, the hosts were able to accommodate us and made the process super easy. Communication with them from the start was very helpful. Great hosts!! We are planning another trip in September and hoping to secure the cottage again.”
