“We had a wonderful stay in Vermont! The house was charming, cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for an extended weekend with a large group of friends (and their families). There was a winter storm during our stay, and the driveway got plowed quickly once the snow stopped falling (thank you!). The only not-so-great things were (1) there were no towels in most bedrooms, and it took almost a day to communicate with the management company about where to find extras (they were locked in the attic), and (2) the management company seems fairly disorganized--although we rented a house in Vermont, all communication (including house instructions) referred to some house in Florida and we got a recommendation to "take a walk along the beach" which was mostly just funny as we read that while sitting by a fireplace in a house in Vermont during a blizzard. However, it is also a red flag.”

“Great location! It’s definitely a piece of history. We loved our stay!”

“Mouse droppings in kitchen drawer. Filthy windows. Peeling wallpaper. Red room dusty moldy. Windows painted shut. Those that opened had filthy window sills.Shades that came off brackets when pulled down - caused injury. No dish towel. Dirty canisters. Big ants. Dirty laundry piled in laundry area. Bedding in washer was cleaned but never removed and dried. One king bedroom had no sheets on bed! This was not discovered til the couple went to bed - too late to hunt for sheets. Gross!!! Front outside door busted with hole in it. Inside door latch fell off. This house should not be rented. Owners seem interested in selling it and are not paying attention to keeping it ready for rental. Some new paint and a newer kitchen were nice. Outdoor setting with pit was very nice. We are 8 college friends in our 60's-80's and very neat housekeepers, so the dirtiness was very unacceptable. We rented many air bnbs. Have never given a bad review before. We feel as if we should be refunded some money.”
