“The view is even better than the photos - enjoyed from a large deck or in lawn chairs and picnic blankets on the soft green grass! Swimming was a bit challenging because of slick rocks, but the water was clear and clean. While the setting is private, there is a restaurant accessible by water right next door so the water can be busy and music can be a bit loud (but off at a reasonable hour). We hope to come back!”

“Comfortable older home with a lovely view and peaceful neighborhood setting. The home is as described with everything you need. Great area to bike, walk or swim. Sometimes the neighbor restaurant’s music is a little loud but never late. The house worked well with young kids. We didn’t use the cabin but that could be a nice setup for kids or grandparents. The beach is great. Vacasa was very responsive when needed once. North Hero is wonderful!”

“While the area was beautiful, there were major discrepancies between what information was provided for us via app and what was provided in the house. The messages indicated that there would be firewood provided, but the house instructions said firewood would NOT be provided. After taking a bit to get back to us, property manager eventually admitted to not knowing we’d received instructions stating firewood would be provided. Overall, the messaging platform felt very AI and disconnected - especially after receiving a message with incorrect information as well as a wrong name. We chose the place expecting to use fire wood and after the price we paid for the space, it was annoying to have to go out, find wood, and shell out more dollars. Last, finding out whether or not we could check in early day of was highly inconvenient as we were coming from 7 hours away.”

“The house is on a beautiful lake with full length windows to take in the view! It was nice they had blinds so you could watch TV and feel private at night. We couldn’t locate the light switch for the bedroom and we messaged them and immediately had a helpful response. I didn’t know if they would have streaming services for the TV but they did, which was great.”

“We stayed here for our honeymoon and enjoyed being so close to the lake. Plenty of restaurants in close proximity, even with the island being off season. It was the perfect relaxing week after a crazy wedding weekend.”
