“Corporate Vacasa ownership shows. We arrived and sheets in three of the four beds had not been changed and were covered in pubic hair and had blood stains. I was thinking about why this was so problematic. Aside from the fact that it is gross, what's worse is once you realize the person who 'serviced' the house was willing to make beds with dirty sheets to make it look like they were cleaned, what else did they do or not do? Also plates were also dirty in the cabinets, some had been washed, some not. Maintenance-wise, sinks did not drain properly and doors did not close to bedrooms which is really frustrating with kids. Overall, I would advise staying somewhere rented by individual owners rather than Vacasa. Those owners care more about their reputation and plus stay at their own homes sometimes so care about deferred maintenance.”
